LA SALVE is the second oldest brewery in the state that is still in operation. It was established in 1886 and after a 40-year interval, it reopened 4 years ago.
Implicit in its nature is its commitment to local communities and innovation as the key to gaining 10% of the market share in the Basque Country in the coming years.
With this goal in mind, LA SALVE opened a plant in Bilbao in 2018. At a cost of 2 million euros, the new plant has begun production at a rate of 200,000 litres of locally produced beer, a volume that will gradually increase.
This is a type of beer that generates value in a state-of-the-art facility that is at the forefront of breweries in Europe and that guarantees zero emissions and a commitment to the environment.
