Gesalaga Precocinados is a family business founded in Zarautz (Gipuzkoa) at the end of the 1970s by Jose Cruz Gesalaga and his wife Arantxa Aizpurua.
With its own network of butchers and livestock farms, they opened the first production facility in 2000, totalling a floor area of 500 m2. In 2013 the company made a strong investment to extend its facilities with the most modern, safest, and most efficient systems.
Gesalaga has been investing in the its permanent improvement for 40 years through the modernization and homogenization in the facilities, in addition to employing a highly qualified and experienced team that has allowed them to establish themselves in the market, especially regarding their croquettes and pasties line, cooked products, and delicatessen.
The goal for this year is to build a production facility for the new line of gluten-free croquettes, suitable for people suffering from gluten intolerance.
